During an appearance on “CNN Tonight,” Mark Geragos, the attorney for former 49ers stars Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid, discussed his client’s conspiracy case against the NFL, hinting that more evidence will soon surface and the case “is about to take a dramatic turn.”
According to Geragos, NFL owners did not sign Colin Kaepernick and are not signing Reid this free agency because President Donald Trump gave such a strong stance against the National Anthem protests and they want to please him.
“I would stay tuned because this case is about to take a dramatic turn,” Geragos told host Don Lemon Wednesday. “I will wait, Don, and come back here and announce it.”
Lemon pressed the attorney for more information, and Geragos added, “[S]omebody has decided they were going to dime out the NFL for what they were doing.”
