GOP Rep Biggs: If Obama Knew About Operatives in Trump’s Campaign, That Would Be ‘an Enormous Scandal’

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Happening Now,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ ) said if former President Barack Obama knew about an FBI informant being involved in President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, that would be “an enormous scandal.”

Biggs said, “I think the link between President Obama and the misconduct we’ve seen lies straight with the subordinates who are writing emails. I think it was a September 2, 2016 email, which specifically said ‘POTUS wants to be informed on everything we’re doing here.’ Well if that’s the case, they’re informing him of the embedding of undercover operatives into the Trump campaign, they talking about the Steele dossier, they are talking about FISA warrants being issued based on a fraudulent dossier to spy on American citizens. That would mean the president knew about this and that expands this to an enormous scandal. We’re talking probably the biggest in American history.”
