Netanyahu on U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem: ‘This Is a Historic Moment and We Will Always Remember It’

In a sit-down interview with Fox News Channel’s Jeanine Pirro, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump for opening the United States embassy in Jerusalem, calling it a “historic moment” that Israelis will always remember.

“I think this is a moment of history and I think President Trump has made history,” Netanyahu told Jeanine Pirro. “This will be remembered the way we remember the proclamation of Harry Truman, who recognized Israel, the way we remember the Cyrus declaration from 2,500 years ago when he told the exiles of Babylon you can go back and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. This is a historic moment and we will always remember it.”
