Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Congress helping with economic assistance if North Korea agreed to give up its nuclear program would be ”the best money we ever spent.”
When asked about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo saying the United States was willing to help North Korea achieve prosperity if they denuclearize, Graham said, “It would be the best money we ever spent. If you could really get North Korea give up nuclear program then I think there would be a lot of support in Congress to give North Korea a better life, provide aid and relieve sanctions with one condition: that you give up your nuclear weapons program in a variable way.”
