Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” White House counselor Kellyanne Conway revealed President Donald Trump wanted to do a monthly interview with the show.
Conway said, “The preisdent wanted to do that. The president had a great time bringing his case directly to the American people, as he does on social media and in these bilateral Q&A’s certainly at the south lawn, and in the press pool sprays, and with other interviews. And the president has said that he would like to, perhaps, come once a month and as news breaks.”
Steve Doocy asked, “Wait, come to ’Fox & Friends’ once a month?”
Conway said, “Yes.”
Doocy added, “Wow!”
Brian Kilmeade said, “Alright, fantastic, that would be great.”
Conway added, “The president was able to cover so much ground with you yesterday and appreciated the platform because it connects him with the American people. Not just on Fox News but that really was the buzz around the globe yesterday in large part, because everybody had to replay your clips. That must have been delicious for some of them.”
