Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) made the case that a second special counsel was warranted given allegations of abuse of the FISA warrants by FBI officials.
Jordan maintained those officials sought FISA warrants but were not entirely forthcoming with the FISA court.
“Laura, it is supposed to be the truth, the whole truth — not part of it, not redactions,” Jordan said. “When you go to the court, you got to give them the whole truth. They did not do that at the FISA court, and it was those people — two of them have been fired, three of them have been demoted. And we don’t think that is special circumstances warranting a second special counsel? I mean, tell me some fact-pattern that would then, Mr. Sessions.”
