On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued that the appointment of John Bolton to serve as NSA is “the fastest way to get people to stop talking about the former Playboy model” that the president wanted to silence.
Brzezinski began the show by playing a clip of Karen McDougal’s CNN interview and stating, “So what’s the fastest way to get people to stop talking about the former Playboy model that the president wanted to keep silent? Take a look.”
Brzezinski then played a portion of Bolton’s interview with the Fox News Channel where he said, “I didn’t really expect that announcement this afternoon.”
She then said, “Nominate a war hawk as your third national security adviser in 14 months.”
Brzezinski further stated, “According to the AP, McMaster showed up to work yesterday, as usual. Hours later, in a phone call with the president, was he down the hall? It was clear that his time was up. He was fired.”
