During Thursday’s “SportsNation” on ESPN, co-host Michelle Beadle lit into LaVar Ball, calling him “obnoxious” and a “misogynist.”
Ball is known for being the outspoken father of Los Angeles rookie Lonzo Ball who took his younger two sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, out of school to play basketball in Lithuania. He has feuded with President Donald Trump after LiAngelo was arrested in China for shoplifting and he told Fox Sports 1’s Kristine Leahy, “Stay in your lane” while talking about his clothing brand on “The Herd.”
“I love LaVar,” Marcellus Wiley said.
“Nobody loves LaVar Ball,” Beadle replied. “Only LaVar Ball loves LaVar Ball.”
LZ Granderson chimed in, “I love LaVar Ball.”
Wiley then responded, “He’s just your uncle at the BBQ.”
“He’s not my uncle, I can tell you that right now. He is not my uncle at any BBQ. He’s obnoxious, misogynist, he hasn’t been able to back up anything because his companies are hot garbage. Better Business Bureau is like, ‘Get out of here. This is trash.’ He’s backed up nothing. He’s backed up nothing!” Beadle exclaimed.
