Flake: I’m ‘Concerned’ About Trump and the Truth – Calling ‘Fake Things Real and Real Things Fake’ Gives Comfort to Dictators

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) stated he would speak more about his concerns over President Trump’s relationship with the truth and that calling “fake things real and real things fake,” gives comfort to dictators.

Flake said, “I’m very concerned, remain concerned, and I’ll be speaking more about this in the coming days on the Senate floor, about the president’s relationship with truth and this labeling of fake news. When you call fake things real and real things fake, what you do is give comfort to dictators worldwide who want to label protests or their opposition as fake news.”
