Friday at his year-end press conference, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) blamed former White House chief strategist and Breitbart executive chairman Steve Bannon for Democrat Sen.-elect Doug Jones’ win against Republican Senate hopeful Roy Moore in Alabama.
When asked if he blamed Bannon for Jones’ victory, McConnell said, “Let me say this: The political genius on display, throwing away a seat in the reddest state in America, is hard to ignore.”
