The Seattle Seahawks fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-24 Sunday, but the Seahawks did not go down without a fight.
As the Jaguars went to take a knee to melt the clock at the end of the game, outspoken Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett dove at center Brandon Linder’s knees and then continued tussling, sparking players between the two teams to scuffle.
Once the dust settled, Bennett was flagged for unnecessary roughness, teammate and fellow defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson was ejected for throwing a punch. Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette was also penalized for his actions in the fight.
On the very next play as the Jaguars continued to knee it out, Seattle defensive end Quinton Jefferson was ejected for unnecessary roughness when he tried to rip the ball out.
Quinton headed for the locker room and shared words with fans in the stands. Fans threw drinks at Jefferson, which is when he took his helmet off and approached the fans. He eventually tried to climb the fence before getting pulled away by security.
