Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White spoke Thursday about the late-hit New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski landed on him Sunday, saying it is “a joke” Gronkowski was only slapped with a one-game suspension.

White also added that he is yet to receive an apology from “dirty player” Gronkowski on the hit that left the rookie defender with a concussion.

“Man, it’s a joke, dog,” White told reporters. “Man, I don’t know what to say on that. I’m laying there. He snuck me with my back turned. He could have broke my neck. I mean, I got a son to raise. All that. People don’t think about that when they just react.”

White also said, via ESPN, “He is what he did. Dirty shot, so what does that make him? Dirty player. Simple.”
