NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver gave a stern warning to Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib.
Talib, 31, was involved in a melee Sunday when he ripped off Oakland Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree’s chain for the second time in two seasons.
Carter said Monday on Fox Sports 1’s “First Things First” that Talib needs to “check himself” or he will be out of the NFL.
“You keep this behavior up, you’ll be out of the NFL,” Carter said. “No one will tolerate you any longer. So, he needs to check himself.”
On top of ripping off Crabtree’s chain in 2016, Talib threatened to beat up Tennessee Titans wide receiver Harry Douglas after they faced each other.
Talib was also forced to miss the team White House visit after his Broncos won Super Bowl 50 because he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a nightclub the night before the trip.
