On Monday’s broadcast of “MSNBC Live,” NBC News Correspondent Tammy Leitner reported that during his visit to Puerto Rico, former President Bill Clinton “half-smirked, and kept going” in response to a question that he “wanted nothing to do with” on Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-NY) comments that he should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Leitner said, “I asked him about the senator’s recent comments. And he looked at me, kind of half-smirked, and kept going. He wanted nothing to do with that. So he didn’t give us an answer.”
