Report: Weinstein’s Wife Has Reached Out to Hillary Clinton’s Longtime Aide Huma Abedin

This week, “Extra” reported on “a well-placed source,” who told Page Six that Harvey Weinstein’s wife, Georgina Chapman, has reached out to Hillary Clinton’s longtime aide Huma Abedin.

Fashion designer Chapman announced earlier in the week that after ten years of marriage, she is leaving her husband, Harvey Weinstein, amidst his growing sexual harassment scandal.

Chapman and Abedin met each other through Weinstein’s fundraising events for Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign.

Abedin is in the process of divorcing her husband, former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner, who pleaded guilty to sexting with a minor.
