During Friday’s “Overtime” segment of HBO’s “Real Time,” NBC sportscaster Bob Costas weighed in on the controversy surrounding ESPN “SC6” host Jemele Hill calling President Donald Trump a “white supremacist” on Twitter.
Costas said Hill’s method of making a point about Trump was “inelegant” and she should have gone on her show to deliver her point in a better way.

“If she wants to make her point, she should go on her own program and make a fulsome, textured, nuanced point,” Costas argued.
Host Bill Maher disagreed, saying Hill would be “completely out of place” to call the president a white supremacist on a sports show.
