On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) stated President Trump is “not a legitimate president, according to many people.”
Gallego said he doesn’t think the president will say Russia meddled in the 2016 election. He explained, “This has to do more with his ego than anything else. He can’t deal with the fact that he actually lost the popular vote. Barely lost the — barely won the Electoral College. And when we talk about actual violations and norms when it comes to democratic practices, such as hacking, in his mind, it means that he’s not a legitimate president. Which, he’s correct. He’s not a legitimate president, according to many people.”
