Dem Rep Gallego: Trump A ‘Big Shameful Blot on the History of the United States’

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat With Ari Melber,” Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) stated President Trump is a “shameful blot” on the United States’ history.

Gallego said, “I think he sees himself as a president for Trump and only Trump industries and only what Trump cares about. He doesn’t care about anyone else. He will jettison any interest group, any people that have supported him and don’t support him in the long run, just to protect himself and to protect what is in his personal interests. He could care less about the dignity of that office. He could care less about the precedence it sets when presidents like him act in the manner they do, or the type of role model he is. He’s — it’s just shameful. He’s just one big shameful blot on the history of the United States.”
