Dem Rep Lieu: Trump’s CNN Tweet Was ‘Suggesting Violence Against Journalists’

Monday on CNN, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA)  said President Donald Trump’s tweet of a video that shows him wrestling a man with a CNN logo as his face was “suggesting violence against journalists.”

Lieu said, “Donald Trump has had a series of highly disturbing tweets, but his tweet yesterday morning was beyond inappropriate. It was suggesting violence against journalists, and that’s going to increase the risk of harm to journalists. The president of the United States should never be inciting violence against any human being.”
