On this weekend’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week,” ranking House Intelligence Committee member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said he was disappointed in National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster’s response to reports that President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, White House senior advisor Jared Kushner, attempted to set up a back channel with the Kremlin.
McMaster said he was “not concerned” about the back-channel report.
Schiff said, “I was disappointed to see the general say that I have a lot of respect for him. Sadly I think this is an administration takes people with good credibility and chews them out and spits out their credibility at the same time.”
He added, “Anyone within the Trump orbit is at risk of being used.”
