Columbia Fireflies outfielder Tim Tebow is struggling a bit at the plate, but he flashed some leather Thursday.
Up 3-2 over the Lexington Legends in the ninth inning and with one out remaining, Tebow made a not-so-graceful diving catch to preserve his team’s victory.
Following the game-ending catch, the New York Mets 29-year-old prospect signed autographs for fans.
Tebow went 0-3 Thursday with two strikeouts, putting him at a .231 average in 38 games with three home runs and 14 runs knocked in.
