On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” Harvard Divinity School Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy Dr. Cornel West stated that President Trump is the chicken of the “tradition of white male mediocrity and mendacity” coming home to roost.
West said, “Donald Trump has been living a life that lacks impunity for so long he thinks he can say anything, do anything. If you talk about you grabbing a woman’s pelvic parts, that’s gangster. You go to somebody’s oil, steal their oil, that’s gangster. He thinks he can get away with it. There’s a tradition of white male mediocrity and mendacity, and the now chicken’s coming home to roost.”
