Friday in a preview clip of an interview set to air Saturday night on Fox News Channel’s “Justice,” President Donald Trump said he was considering canceling the daily White House press briefings and replacing them with press conferences he does every two weeks.
Trump said, “We don’t have press conferences.”
He continued, “We just don’t have them unless I have them every two weeks and I do them myself. We don’t have them. I think it’s a good idea. First of all, you have a level of hostility that is incredible and it’s very unfair. Sarah Huckabee is a lovely young woman. You know Sean Spicer, he’s a wonderful human being. He’s a nice man … He’s doing a good job, but he gets beat up.”
