Wednesday on ABC’s “The View,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) classified both President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as “unstable,” noting they both had control of nuclear weapons.
Partial transcript as follows:
GOLDBERG: So basically, what is going on with Korea? Because Kim Jong il deux who I call Kim Jong yum-yum…
BEHAR: We call him yum-yum here.
GOLDBERG: They make only armaments. They just make bombs and stuff. What should be happening and why isn’t it happening?
WARREN: So we know that he is an unstable man who has nuclear weapons.
BEHAR: You’re talking about Trump now.
WARREN: About to deal with an unstable man who has nuclear weapons. What could possibly go wrong? This is a country that is supported by China. That is the only way that this dictatorship stays propped up. And so the way we’re going to get a solution here is that we got to deal with the Chinese government, and we have to find a way for the Chinese government to deal with Korea so that we can de-escalate what’s happening in that part of the world. That really is our only chance in the area.
