West Virginia pitcher Alek Manoah showed Wednesday while facing Morehead State that gloves are overrated.
A Morehead State batter fought off an inside pitch, lacing it weakly back to Manoah. The right-hander plucked the ball out of the air with his bare hand, then doubled off the runner at first for a double play.
