Thursday at the White House press briefing, when asked about a CNN report that claims U.S. officials have information suggesting associates of the Donald Trump’s campaign coordinated with Russia, White House p
Spicer said, “So let’s actually look at what CNN reported, they reported that anonymous U.S. officials have told them that information indicates that associates of the campaign and suspected operatives coordinated which they admit is not conclusive of anything that is bordering on collusion. The last line of the thing said quote, ‘The FBI cannot yet prove that collusion took place.’ I think there’s probably more evidence CNN colluded with the Clinton campaign to give her debate questions than the Trump campaign gave any kind of collusion. So what it comes down to that reporting it’s filled with subjective terms about this person may have done this, possibly could have done that. At end of the story, if you wait until the bottom, it says the FBI could not yet verify collusion took place. I’ve addressed this type of reporting in the past. This fits right in.”
