New Jersey Man Who Stopped Teen Fight: ‘It Was the Right Thing to Do’

By now you have probably seen the viral video of the New Jersey man who interrupted a street fight between two teenagers.

The man, Ibn Ali Miller, has been deemed a hero for making the two boys shake hands instead of fighting and shaming their hardworking parents.

Wednesday, Atlantic City’s council honored Miller for intervening.

‘It’s a great thing to have the youth listen like that,’ Miller told the Press of Atlantic City. ‘That doesn’t always happen. Those young men impressed me.”

Per Press of Atlantic City, Miller is a father of five, a husband and a student.

“I stepped in just because it was the right thing to do,” he said. “Those kids didn’t look like predators to me. To me, I saw my own kids. I didn’t see predators.”
