Monday during an off-camera press briefing at the White House, press secretary Sean Spicer addressed President Donald Trump’s tweets over the weekend accusing the Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower before last November’s presidential election.
Spicer said, “I think there’s no question that something happened. The question is it, is it surveillance, is it a wiretap or whatever? There has been enough reporting that was strongly suggesting that something occurred. And I think that is why what he said yesterday is that he wants Congress to look into this.”
