Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James made a new friend Wednesday night.

As the All-Star went flailing into the stands after going up for a rebound against the Boston Celtics, James plowed through a cameraman and was headed on a crash course towards New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick, who was sitting courtside under the goal.

James stopped his momentum in time to not hit the legendary coach, however.

“I definitely slowed up because I knew it was him,” James told reporters later. “I’m not taking no legend out.”

James also tweeted out that he had a great conversation with Belichick after the game, adding it was something that he will “remember forever.”
