Dem Sen Murphy: Trump ‘Relished’ Saying ‘Radical Islamic Terrorism’ To ‘Stick It To Islam’

During MSNBC’s coverage of President Trump’s speech before Congress, Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) argued Trump “relished” saying “radical Islamic terrorism” ” just to stick it to Islam, to make sure that they knew that they were all a danger to the United States.”

Murphy said, “I don’t know how it came across on TV, but those words in the chamber, right? He relished saying those words, just to stick it to Islam, to make sure that they knew that they were all a danger to the United States. And the irony of it all is that he talks about making this country safer, and then every time that he marginalizes Muslims, like he did tonight, he is giving them bulletin board recruitment material for lone wolf attackers here in the United States.”
