During the Sunday New York AM 970 “The Cats Roundtable” broadcast, former House Intelligence Chair Mike Rogers (R-MI) warned that this country is currently in a cyber war of which it is not aware, but is “not necessarily winning” as well.
“You know, we’re in a cyber war in this country, and most Americans don’t know it. And we’re not necessarily winning,” the former congressman told host John Catsimatidis. “So, we’ve got huge challenges when it comes to cybersecurity.”
“Hackers have been able to get into the uplinks and downlinks of our satellite systems, which means your GPS could go out and not come back on. They’ve been able to get into remote driverless cars and slam on the brakes when they’re going 55 and 60 miles per hour,” Rogers added.
