After his team’s game against the Orlando Magic, Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr took a shot at Press Secretary Sean Spicer when about being introduced to the crowd as a “former Orlando Magic star.”
Kerr played only 47 games with the Magic, averaging 2.6 points per game.
He was asked if being called a “star” was his version of “alternative facts” — a nod at Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway referring to Trump’s inauguration crowd, which Spicer called the “largest audience to ever witness an inauguration” even though mainstream media reported differently — Kerr joked that Spicer would exaggerate about his Magic career.
“Yes, Sean Spicer will be talking about my Magic career any second now,” Kerr said. “Fourteen-thousand points, greatest player in Magic history.”
