Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” “Justice” host Jeanine Pirro criticized an inspector general’s probe into FBI Director James Comey’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized email server in the lead up to last November’s presidential election.
Pirro called the probe nonsense and suggested the inspector general would be better suited to investigate outgoing Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
“It’s just nonsense to look at James Comey,” Pirro said. “Look at Loretta Lynch, who is the attorney general. She should be the one who is subject of the inspector general’s investigation. She is one that met with the target’s husband secretly, hoping that no one would find out about it. And instead they’re going after Comey.”
“Bottom line is they can’t do anything to Comey,” she added. “It’s not going to matter.”
