Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson took on Teen Vogue magazine weekend editor for a tweet that suggested Ivanka Trump, daughter of President-elect Donald Trump, should face heightened scrutiny after being harassed by a fellow passenger on a JetBlue flight out of JFK earlier this week while accompanied by her children.
“What are the venues where you shouldn’t scream your political views at people, would a funeral be out-of-bounds, church, her son’s brisk, like what are the rules on that?” Carlson asked.
Duca told Carlson she disapproved of the individual harassing Ivanka Trump on the airplane, but doubled down on her claim of Ivanka Trump’s “sinister complicity” regarding her support of her father Donald Trump.
“She was a surrogate frequently throughout,” Duca said. “She did interviews. She did speeches on his behalf, where she represented a platform of women’s empowerment.”
Carlson retorted by referencing Duca’s aforementioned tweet.
“She looks like she smells like vanilla?” Carlson said. “I mean, who’s objectifying women here?”
The back-and-forth continued for nearly 10 minutes. After the segment aired, Duca proclaimed victory on Twitter and retweeted those that agreed with her position.
