Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough warned Republicans who used to the term “repeal and replace” with regards to Obamacare they would end up losing in the 2018 midterm elections if they did not act on those promises.
“Front page of The New York Times has a lot of great stories here,” Scarborough said. “Fascinating stories. First of all, sign ups jump for Obamacare. People are voting with their feet here. And if Republicans believe they’re going to repeal this law without having something in place to replace it, they are making a mistake that will crush them in 2018. Mark it down, Republicans. Just mark it down.
“You can replace it,” he added. “You don’t have a plan to replace it right now. Health savings accounts and that stuff, that ain’t going to cut it for the people who already know they have health care.”
