During an interview aired on Wednesday’s “New Day” on CNN, Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) stated that there were “a lot of biases against” Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and that when you break the glass ceiling, “You end up living in a glass office, where everything you do is scrutinized.”
When asked if she thought the country wasn’t ready for a woman president, Mikulski responded, “I’ll let the history books analyze that.”
She added, when pressed what her opinion was, “I think that there were a lot of biases against her. You know, what we find, when you break the glass ceiling? You end up living in a glass office, where everything you do is scrutinized.”
