Monday on MSNBC’s townhall with Chris Hayes, former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said President-elect Donald Trump won the presidency because voters are tired of politically correct rhetoric and perceived Trump as “speaking from his heart.”
Sanders said, “I think he said he will not be politically correct. I think he said some outrageous and painful things but I think people are tired of the same old, same old political rhetoric and they believe that he was speaking from his heart and willing to take on everybody.”
