Former DNC Chair Rendell: Voter Recounts ‘a Waste of Time’

During the Sunday broadcast of New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable,” former DNC Chair and former Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) called the voting recount effort led by the Green Party’s Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton “a waste of time.”

“Jill Stein has not cited in Wisconsin, Michigan or Pennsylvania any explicit, concrete evidence that there was fraud. In fact, the secretary of state of Pennsylvania, who’s under a Democratic governor, and who was coincidently my secretary of state when I was governor, says there’s not a single evidence of any voter fraud in any of the vote in Pennsylvania. So, I think the suits are a waste of time. They’re not gonna change the results,” Rendell told host John Catsimatidis.
