Thursday on TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” NBA legend Charles Barkley went after the Golden State Warriors, saying he does not like how they play “little girly basketball,” and he does not want their style of play in the league.
“Maybe I’m old school, but I’m never gonna like that little girly basketball where you have to outscore people,” Barkley said. “I’m biased against girl basketball. I love [UCONN Women’s Coach] Geno Auriemma, one of my favorite coaches, I love women’s basketball, but I don’t want it in the NBA.”
Last season, the Warriors followed up their championshop season by setting the NBA record for wins in a season at 73, eventually losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the championship.
