CNN: Dems In ‘Total Shatters,’ Pelosi The ‘Personification, In Some Ways,’ Of Why They Lost

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” CNN Politics Executive Editor Mark Preston said Democrats are in “total shatters,” and host John Berman dubbed House Minority Leader Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “the personification, in some ways, of why the Democrats lost.”

Berman said Pelosi “is the personification, in some ways, of why the Democrats lost. She’s a San Francisco liberal. She’s a coastal liberal, elite, seen as out of touch with the middle of the country.”

Preston added that the Democratic Party is in “total shatters, right now.”
