Monday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” while discussing Vice President-elect Mike Pence being read a statement by cast of the Broadway musical “Hamilton” after the Broadway performance he attended, former Gov. John H. Sununu (R-NH) criticized the cast saying suggesting it was an arrogant gesture.
Sununu said, “My reaction is—can you imagine the arrogance of people who just happen to sing well trying to tell a governor who’s about to be vice president how to run the country? It’s unbelievable. It happens all the time nowadays, from Hollywood to Broadway to TV, these folks, just because they have access to the public through their entertainment talent, think they know something about governing. I find it arrogant and embarrassing for them.”
