Washington Post Opinion Writer and MSNBC contributor Jonathan Capehart stated that President Obama’s legacy disappearing under a Trump presidency “frightens” him during an emotional interview with Channel 4 News on Thursday,
“[T]he election of President Obama was a great moment for this country, and now we stand two months away from — excuse me — from all of that disappearing,” Capehart said, pausing to hold back tears.
He continued, “And as an African-American, as an openly gay man, and as an American, that frightens me.”
