Axelrod: This Was a Primal Scream from Voters

Tuesday night on CNN, former chief strategist for Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns David Axelrod said President-elect Donald Trump’s victory was a  “primal scream” from voters.

Axelrod said, “What is clear is, there was a hunger for change among a lot of Americans and those who felt strongly about those who were angered and disenchanted with government, overwhelmingly were supporting Donald Trump, notwithstanding the fact that two thirds of them said they didn’t think he had the temperament or the qualifications for it. This was a — this was a primal scream on the part of a lot of voters who are disenchanted with the status quo and Hillary Clinton.”
