Tuesday on MSNBC, when asked about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s chances of wining his home state of Minnesota, early Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton support Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) said, “I’m not overconfident,” adding “I remember in 2004 at this time of day everyone was thinking that Kerry was looking awfully good.”
Franken said, “Look, I’m the poster child for close elections. I won in 2008 by 312 votes. So, my message to Democrats is go out there and vote. That’s it. I’m not overconfident — I remember in 2004 at this time of day everyone was thinking that Kerry was looking awfully good. So, I just –Democrats, just go out there and vote.”
