On Wednesday’s “Alan Colmes Show,” on Fox News Radio, former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers stated that he would “probably” vote for Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but “might” vote for Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein.
Ayers said, [relevant remarks begin around 23:05] “I’ll probably vote for Hillary Clinton, but I might vote for Jill Stein.”
Ayers added that he’s only voted for two Democrats, George McGovern in 1972 and President Obama in 2008 and 2012. He continued that he wasn’t “looking to Hillary, out of the goodness of her heart, to do the right things. But I am looking to us, ordinary people, to rise up and demand that she do the right thing when it matters.”
Ayers also stated that Obama’s presidency hasn’t disappointed him, because he didn’t have any illusions about President Obama, and Obama has “governed from the center.”
