Monday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump lives in “a parallel universe.”

Albright said, “I have been in nine states. We have talked to a lot of people. The energy level of the Clinton people is remarkable. People are ready to go out and multiply and get door knocking and canvassing going on. I have talked to undecided people. What’s interesting is there is no words to describe the reaction of women to what Trump said. It goes from disgusting to unprintable to really just so appalled at the kinds of things he says. And then to say these women are all lying is just stunning. He does live in a parallel universe. I think the women have had it. There is no question. People are fed up with the kind of language that he and the allegations that he is making that absolutely don’t make any sense. Lewd, disgusting.”

She added, “There were a lot of young women in the groups I have spoken to. They get it. They don’t want to live in a world where there is somebody that’s running for president that can say the obnoxious things Trump has said and that they see that Hillary is the person that has stood up for women’s rights, that has — cares about equal pay for equal work and doesn’t put up with the kind of statements that Trump makes. And frankly the dignity she has had in dealing with the kinds of lewd comments he has made.”
