Tuesday on Fox Sports 1’s “Undisputed,” co-host Shannon Sharpe reacted to ESPN’s Keith Law calling Tim Tebow the baseball player “an imposter pretending to have talent he does not possess.”
Sharpe, noting Tebow’s 0-12 start to the Arizona Fall League, ripped Tebow for still working with ESPN on the weekend to analyze college football instead of practicing baseball.
“See, this is the problem that everybody has with [Tebow],” Sharpe said. “He always got moved to the front of the line. Not only did he get moved to the front of the line, [the Mets] gave him $100,000. So Skip Bayless, you tell me every day on this show you cover football almost as long as I have been alive. And you have. Tell me the time that a guy has been away from a sport for over a decade and got $100,000 signing bonus.”
