In a Sunday interview with New York AM 970 radio host John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable,” Clinton Foundation President and CEO Donna Shalala said that if Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton gets elected, the Clinton Foundation would be “dramatically different.”
“[A] lot of the work that we’re doing will continue, but in other people’s hands,” Shalala told Catsimatidis. “The President will no longer be on the board of the foundation. We will no longer raise money for the foundation, we’ll no longer have our international programs or our international donors. Those organizations that we’ve created will spin off into private charities themselves and private non-governmental organizations … and continue to raise money, but directly themselves. In some cases we’re going to merge with other organizations and basically send the resources and our personnel to that other organization.”
“We’ll be able to take money from American donors and we’ll be able to take money from private American foundations, but not from corporate foundations,” she added. “It will be a dramatically different foundation.”
