Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin: One NFL Team Owner Told Players Not to Protest Anthem

During this week’s broadcast of “Any Given Wednesday” on HBO, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin claimed one owner in the NFL told his players specifically not to protest the pregame national anthem.

“Regarding the National Anthem and the protests, the one quote that I was informed of was, ‘You’re going to stand on the line with your hand on your heart and you’re going to sing the national anthem because this is my stage,’” Baldwin told host Bill Simmons.
