Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Joe Scarborough said former President Bill Clinton was “‘trying to destroy his wife’s campaign” by criticizing ObamaCare while campaigning for his wife Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Scarborough said, “Everybody has known, I mean, he certainly has told people close he does not like Barack Obama. He has never liked Barack Obama. But you think he could keep it inside here until after the election.”

When Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin said the Clinton campaign was “lucky it wasn’t worse,” Scarborough retorted, “How can it be worse? What, tear up a picture of the pope or Barack Obama? Like how could it be worse?”

Before introducing a clip of Bill Clinton calling ObamaCare “the craziest thing in the world,” Scarborough said, “Here is Bill Clinton trying to destroy his wife’s campaign.”
